The Swedish farmaceutical skin care company Secuvie was founded by Michael Linell, a versatile entrepreneur who already at young age showed genuine interest in natural products and wellness.

Michael´s interest in health and the environment developed in South Africa, where he arrived in 2002 to develop a local project. Michael soon became interested in learning from people who were good at listening to nature and taking advantage of the resources that were there. In connection with the project Michael met for the first time a group of researcher who studied a plant acid called CHD Fulvic Acid. It was the first time Michael came into contact with the plant acid which would later become the cornerstone of Secuvie’s products. The more familiar he became with the potent plant acid the stronger was his conviction that there was a future in pure and organic products.

Already the early research showed that CHD Fulvic was very effective against various forms of skin conditions. In 2005 Michael began to work actively with CHD Fulvic Acid and the idea came to use CHD Fulvic Acid in skin products to alleviate and prevent skin problems of various kinds since this substance had proved so potent in tests. Michael felt that using CHD Fulvic Acid in skin products to achieve great skin was a possible way to introduce the plant acid to a wider audience.

In 2007 it was clear that a new generation of products and a skincare range was about to be launched in Europe. To assist in this work, Michael took on a chemist, Trevor, who is one of the ablest and most renowned in the field of natural ingredients, such as, essential oils. Trevor began working with CHD Fulvic Acid and did research on the ability to mix it with other natural and organic ingredients for a future skincare line. In order to facilitate the market research Michael went to Sweden in the summer of 2007 to meet with key individuals and companies. He began to develop the skin care company Secuvie in Sweden, a project that is still under way with the entire European skincare market in focus.

Today Secuvie offers a wide range of entirely Swedish-made skincare products that are gentle towards people and nature. Even the research and product tests are carried out in Sweden. The content of the products is of 100% natural origin and they free from preservatives, parabens, mineral oils or perfume.
